WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: She might have a goofy name and a grumpy face, but Gummybear is as sweet as they come! She has been perfect on leash whenever I’ve walked her, seems very housebroken, and diligently “sit”s even if she doesn’t care for my treats. She might seem a little reserved at first, but some butt scratches are all it takes for her to instantly reveal her wiggly, playful, affectionate nature. She really channels a cat as she smears herself against me, ensuring I pet all of her “spots.” She briefly bats at toys I throw for her, will engage in chase play with me, and has been friendly towards other dogs in our playgroups. She is so easy to be with and just as hard to part ways with (I think the feeling is mutual: the only time I’ve heard her bark is in protest after I put her back!)… she is really a star!! Gummybear would love to be your best friend, please come meet her at Brooklyn ACC!
