06/06/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: So many compliments when walking this handsome fellow! Guapo’s coat shines, his tail wags, and he has perfectly positioned little ‘smudges’ of black on the white side of face giving him an adorably sweet look. He may be housetrained, going potty as soon as we were out the door, and while he pulls slightly on leash he’s small, easily managed, and responsive to his person. Showing off how brilliant he is by sitting for a treat, he looks up expectantly waiting, and takes it gently. Wagging his tail with excitement at other dogs we passed, he’s easily moved along as we walk. Affectionate (yes, I got kisses), lively, fun and friendly, our handsome Guapo is ready to become your handsome Guapo. And yes, that’s redundant, as Guapo is Spanish for handsome, but boy, he really is! Couple that with his obvious charm and nice manners and you have a lovely dog just waiting to be yours.
