07/22/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Over the last 14 years I volunteered at the care center, I met quite a number of Greysons. Somehow, most of them were very similar…greyish, shabby, gentle, loving and easy going. Thankfully, all found their way to a caring family. The last Greyson edition is no different. Greyson is a sweet soul, clearly not spoiled by life, attuned to his caretaker, a soft presence that makes up for the scorching sun and all the strong boys I walked that day before him. He is leashed easily, walks nicely, does his business on the way and shows a healthy interest in his peers. I was told that he performed quite well with males and females in playgroup. Greyson comes when called, sits very nicely on command, seeks caresses, his head in my lap, and despite a being underweight, takes tasty treats very gently from my hand. There is grace and elegance in his ways. He is a prince disguised as a pauper. I so would love to see Greyson in a home, with more meat around the bones and with a big smile on his face, resting on a cushy pillow at the feet of his master or running after a ball in the park. Come and meet Greyson at the Manhattan Care Center and make yourself a beautiful friend for life. Another volunteer writes: Greyson is too thin and is being fed an extra meal daily, and he has some boo boos all of which are healing. But, none of that dims what’s really important, and that’s his HEART. He’s the sweetest guy ever, who gives me stand up hugs as we walk, checks up often with a gentle tail wag, and then stops again for a hug. A walk with Greyson goes like this: walk, walk, hug, walk, hug, walk, walk, walk hug. How can you not fall in love? He’s very serious for his photo shoot, making soft eye contact and posing perfectly. Ask staff about Greyson and they’ll tell you how much they love him, his gentle, sweet and loving manner is winning him fans of all of us. He’s waiting for his biggest fan, you, to come meet him and make him yours. You’ll love him, guaranteed.
