01/28/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I’m over the moon for Gotti…he is like something out of a dream! He is quiet in his cage but does a little tap dance with his front paws when I approach. He could stand to gain a little weight, but he has enough extra mushy skin on his cheeks and neck that I like to think they’re his version of love handles. The smallest crumb of a treat will earn you his undivided attention and, with a little reminder, he takes them nicely (plus everything about his mouth is cute!). He is easy to walk on leash, seems housebroken, and already knows some basic commands. He’s previously lived with children (he was gentle and knew not to jump up on them), another dog (he’s done well so far with other dogs here, too!), and was scared of the resident cat. He loves to play with toys and has the softest personality…just impossibly wiggly and sweet! He shakes his whole back end like a puppy when I call him over, will make himself at home in my lap, gives me love nibbles on my ear, and when he rolls over for belly rubs (which is often) his face melts into whatever surface it lands on. Gotti could be your Valentine and make your heart swell every other day of the year…please come see him at Brooklyn ACC!
