My name is GOOFY. My Animal ID # is A1102311.
I am a neutered male brown and white am pit bull ter. The shelter thinks I am about 5 MONTHS old.

I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 01/26/2017 from NY 11220, owner surrender reason stated was LLORDPRIVA.

01/26/17 19:03 Goofy is a five month old brown and white American Pitbull terrier. He was surrendered due to owner facing issues with the landlord. Goofy was given to owner by a friend and was with his owner for the last four months. He has not known medical issues. Goofy has lived with five adults and two kids’ ages four and thirteen. He is described as friendly and very playful towards strangers he likes to jump up and engages in somewhat rough play with adults. Owner stated due to his size he can knock over the four year old child. He has not been around cats or other dogs. Goofy is not housetrained and is walked once a day. He was provided was pee pads in the home. He will destroy household items such as shoes and clothing. Goofy is not bothered when his food is touched while eating. He loves baths and being brushed. Goofy will bark when a stranger approaches the home and once inside the home he will greet the visitor and jump on them. Goofy is described as a friendly, playful and excitable. Goofy likes to play with balls and squeaky toys. He has been kept only indoors. Goofy eats dry food Pedigree brand and loves chicken. Goofy knows the command sits. He pulls hard on leash and gets over excited when he is outside. Upon intake Goofy was relaxed and energetic, he jumped on counselor when approached and wagged his tail. He was scanned (positive), collared and photographed. Goofy allowed all handling during the intake process.
