Medical Summary scan positive — 064318861 *finder reported blood in stool and vomit. also urinated blood in admissions office* ~10yrs, male intact bar. tries to bite. no interest in food. bcs 4/9 moderate dental tartar/gingivitis, immature cataracts ou, +/-KCS ou, no ocular or nasal discharge, ears wnl — no evidence of bruising or petechia in oral cavity or other grade 5/6 heart murmur, no crackles or wheezes at this time, increased respiratory rate (panting) normal abdominal palpation; ambulatory x 4; slightly matted hair coat parvo test neg a: geriatric, heart murmur, blood in stool, urine and vomit — rule out exposure to rodenticide vs neoplasia vs other p: holding off on vaccinations at this time. rec emergency care at outside facility for possible rodenticide toxicity and full geriatric work up. fair to poor prognosis depending on underlying condition addendum: few episodes of diarrhea with specks of franks blood, vomited one time yellow bile with specks of blood. administered all vaccines. administered lrs 150ml sq, cerenia 0.5ml sq, metronidazole 0.75ml po continue to monitor in medical. rec lrs 100ml sq q24 x 3 days, metronidazole 0.75ml po q24 x 7 days, clavamox 62.5mg po q12 x 10 days. a: rodenticide toxicity appears less likely at this time. rule out HGE vs neoplasia vs other
