07/21/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: I knew I was going to love Geneva the moment I spotted her in her kennel. She has that “look”, the Family Dog seal of authenticity…imprinted in love letters on her face. I am so glad I took her out at the end of my shift. How peaceful our time was in the yard…a real blessing. Geneva walks beautifully on the leash, not forgetting to do her business. She does not seem to mind little or big dogs encountered around the block. She is fine being approached by passersby who comment about her ruffled neck piece. What an easy going gal! She is beautiful and has been so well cared for. She might be a tad chunky, but that makes her even cuter and more lovable. Geneva comes at once when called, sits nicely on command, gives paw (I wish my dog did), displays the sweetest and biggest smile, and looks at me with eyes that melt my heart. She so enjoys caresses and hugs. She is the mushiest of all…I so love her. You’ve got to meet her. It is an absolute must. Geneva is said to be five years old, a perfect age to adopt a pet, mostly one who has already such great qualities. Come and meet her soon at the Manhattan Care Center and make her yours, all yours, the jewel who will brighten your life.
