12/13/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Gentle, curious, bright, versatile, inquisitive, fun loving…whether or not you believe in horoscopes, Gemini the Adorable Bulldog (of course she has a title!) lives up to her namesake sign, and then some. She’s sociable yet laid back, smart, sweet and just as easy to handle as she looks, and seriously, how cute is that little peek-a-boo tongue?!! Gemini’s classic smooshy face and soft snortles are instantly endearing, and we leave a sea of smiles in our wake as we slowly toddle down the street. She takes care of all her business quickly, and happily greets other dogs large and small, but when she decides that our walk is over, the brakes come on and the tasty bribes must begin. It’s a classic human wrangling technique that with 46 pounds of muscle behind it, works like a charm every time, and Gemini knows it! She takes her treats gently and accepts all my snuggles with quiet stoicism, and when it’s time to return to her den she hops right back onto her bed without a fuss. Those born under the sign of the twins are said to feel that their other half is missing, so they’re forever seeking new friends, and our Gemini is no exception. Could you be her soulmate and the BFF she’s longing to find? There’s only one way to know for sure…ask to meet Gemini the Adorable Bulldog at our Manhattan Care Center and get ready to fall in love.
