Negative History : Owner surrender Subjective: BAR, good for medical handling, friendly Objective T = P = 88 R = 36 BCS 5/9 EENT: OS corneal opacity, possible ulcer, with neovascularization. OU slight serous discharge. Ears clean, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Severe dental disease PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Female. No obvious spay scar or tattoo, but reported to be spayed. MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted. Dirty unkempt haircoat. Patchy areas of hair matting CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment : 13 yo FI Maltese – owner surrender – geriatric +/- OS corneal ulcer Plan: Triple antibiotic ointment OU BID x 10 days Dental in the future, if medically stable Prognosis: Fair
