09/12/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/12/17 19:56 Basic Information: Fresia is a year old blue and white large breed dog. She was found in her finder’s apartment in the hallway of his building. He couldn’t keep her for himself due to the 2 small dogs he already has in the home. Behavior During Intake: She had a very stiff body when greeting her with eye adverted. She allowed petting and eventually started to wag her tail slowly after a few moments of petting her and talking to her. She allowed for me to collar her and was very calm while a picture was taken of her.
09/17/2017 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Fresia is a pretty grey mouse who has been well cared for and although a little shy at first, knows her ways around humans and seems to enjoy our company too. Treats are an ice breaker.. Fresia soon discovers the source for them, right in my goodies bag, on the bench and attempts to serve herself. I remind her of proper table manners and she sits for more, her tail wagging excitedly. Fresia walks well on the leash, does her business on the way and passes other dogs properly. She is quite obedient, comes when called, sits upon command(it never fails) and hops on the bench for bonding time. I have not seen a smile yet but she certainly knows how to kiss. She is a little cautious in playgroup with her peers and through the fence, will respond if another dog barks at her as she is I think a girl with opinions. Fresia is a pretty, sociable, calm although lively, friendly , affectionate and a little pushy gal who would love to start her life again with you, as your fun and loyal forever best friend. Come and meet her soon at the Manhattan Care Center.
