07/30/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
07/30/16 09:15 Basic Information: Frenchie is a 2 year old spayed Chihuahua poodle mix. She was given away on instagram. Her previous owner had her for 3 weeks and surrendered her because she attacks people. Socialization: Around strangers Frenchie is said to be aggressive, she growls and barks. But she is friendly initially. She spent time with a 9 year old and was playful but somewhat rough at play. When she played with adults she is exuberant. Behavior: Frenchie has bitten a person before but it was not in the past 10 days. When she hears loud noises she barks. If her food bowl is touched while eating she backs away and waits until the hand is removed before she continues eating. If a toy is taken away from her she becomes playful. She isn’t bothered if she is taken off furniture, held, disturbed while sleeping, or if her coat is brushed. She barks and growls if an unfamiliar person approached her home or previous owner. For a New Family to know: Frenchie is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, shy, excitable and fearful with a medium activity level. Her previous owner liked that she is affectionate and stubborn. When her previous owner was home she would follow her around. She likes to play with stuffed toys, chew toys and ropes and her favorite games are chase and tug. She was kept indoors only and at night she slept on her dog bed. She ate dry Purina. She’s mostly house trained and had accidents a few time a week. When left alone indoors she destroys household items and uses the bathroom. She knows how to come. She was walked 2-3 times daily and pulls very hard on leash. Behavior during intake: Frenchie growled attempted to bit when i attempted to collar.
