05/28/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Oh. Wow. Greatness Alert!!!!! Let us begin with: Frankie, despite clearly being desperately house trained, was asleep in his kennel when we went to walk him. This is not a quiet joint, so it is safe to say–since he is not deaf–he is about as mellow as anyone could ask for. And, despite being desperately house trained, did not pull even the slightest bit on his leash to get outside. Is it too soon to get to what an amazing kisser he is??? That would flash forward to the end of our hot date, but why bury the lead? After a gorgeous walk to the park (the leash was slack he is so great on it), with his adorable ears going “flop flop” and his tail going “wag wag” as we strolled along, he crawled up into my lap and began kissing me. OK, I’m easy, but you would be too if you met Frankie. Another dog came up, lunging and growling at him, and he just wagged his tail. I’d like to think of Frankie as all mine, but in fact his walking log is filled with love notes, each and every one attesting to his being The Perfect Dog. He is, he is, and in fact, he’s available for adoption. Consider yourself to have won the dog lottery!!!
