A volunteer writes:
Adorable, petite and girly define Forest, a smallish elf girl found as a stray. She is a bit on the thin side, wrapped in a lovely latte and cream dress and owns large ears that  look like wings. She is a sociable little gal who understands quickly(after initial shyness) that I am a friend. Treats help , of course. Forest, indeed, still just a puppy and despite looking very healthy, is a bit too thin and needs to put more meat around her bones. She loves food, will search politely my bag and mostly jump for dry liver bits she is very fond of. I think that she will be quite to train as she is so food motivated . Forest is a good walker and meets uneventfully other pooches. She plays nicely tag, hide and seek, does not mouth at all and does not bite her leash. Once she knows you a little better, she will be right on your lap, asking for hugs and kisses. Forest is a cute little gal, still a blank canvas who will absorb your teaching like a sponge if you give her love and shelter. Come and meet her at the Manhattan Care Center and make her yours…
