10/1/16 4:03pm The finders tried to get the dog for a couple of hours and lured the dog into their car by using treats. However, once the dog was in the car, the dog started hard barking and lunging. Upon intake: Was stiff when approached but was slowly leashed. Upon getting out of the car, the dog bit the handler, not breaking skin.

KNOWN HISTORY: We have no information on Flurry’s behavioral history Unaltered, stray SAFER ASSESSMENT: 10/4/2016 No tactile handling portions of the assessment were conducted, due to Flurry biting staff on the leg upon being taken out of the car (did not break skin) and lunging/attempting to bite another staff member. Toy 1. Minimal interest, sniffed a few times Dog-dog: 1. Approached the helper dog at an appropriate pace, tail at spine level, relaxed. Summary: Flurry was relaxed upon entering SAFER assessment area, but handling was not conducted due to previously-observed aggression with multiple staff members. PLAYGROUP: Summary: Flurry has not attended playgroup MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 10/1/2016 During his initial medical examination, Flurry was difficult to handle and attempted to bite.
