A volunteer writes: Fee Fi Fo Fum, It’s Fifa and we’re having a pool party!! This gorgeous little girl with the ginormus rabbit ears, award winning smile and stunning silvery coat is the perfect buddy for a pool party. Diving in head first she lies down, splashes around and is clearly having a ball! Surrendered by her family as they are no longer able to care for her, we’re told she’s social and outgoing with strangers, lived with young children and is playful, lived with another female dog and was playful, doesn’t guard her things, and surprisingly doesn’t like baths. She’s housetrained, used to being walked 2-3 times a day, is active and likes all kinds of toys. I loved playing with Fifa, she’s fun, alert, loved playing with tennis balls and toys earlier in the day, and of course when I filled the pool she was my first customer! Fifa loves going into playgroups, soliciting play and bouncing around. Fifa is ready for a fun, active home where there’s playtime, lots of love, and toys. She’s such a sweet girl, the perfect size, nicely taken care of and ready to begin her happily ever after with you.

Fifa has displayed mild interest in engaging in play with other dogs. However due to limited observation, the behavior team does recommend pre-adoption interaction and slow introduction to another social, resident dog. Fifa arrived with the following information from her owner: “e lived with another female dog and owner says the two were playful and loving with each other”. 7/12: When off leash with other dogs, Fifa takes a moment to warm up, then bows, barks, and spins to solicit. 7/13: Fifa anxiously runs throughout the pen and does not display much interest in the other dog. 7/14: Fifa solicits with paw slaps and bows. 7/15 update: Fifa engages in bouncy running play with an exuberant male. She offers correction when he is overly mouthy. 7/16 update: Fifa continues to be solicitous and bouncy.
