A volunteer writes: Little Felicia, a 12 year old dame , was found as a stray. Quite a pretty dog she is with still bright chestnut eyes and a thick coat long overdue for a professional grooming. Felicia is at her door, making sure I notice her silently but surely… Her eyes are right on mine and her little spongy nose is sticking out between the bars. She is quick to jump into my arms and off we go to the yard. She relives herself and ambulates nicely, managing the stairs without problem. Felicia does not mind meeting other pooches. She prefers though to be on her caretaker’s lap for caresses and a bit of treats that she takes quite gently from my hand. Felicia might be 12 but she is still up and about, friendly, sociable and easy going. Felicia does not have a lifetime in front of her but safe, cared for and loved, she will give her new master wonderful , sweet and loving days that are worth a thousand years.. Come and meet Felicia at the Manhattan Care Center. She is waiting for you.
