07/18/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Could Essence be among the sweetest dogs ever?? If you answered “no” or aren’t sure, then the only logical explanation is you haven’t met her yet! She is petite with the cutest face and packed to the gills with sweetness. She lived with her previous family since she was 3 months old and they have nothing but good things to tell us about her. She has been friendly towards all people (big and small) that she’s encountered, hasn’t shown any resource guarding, has been crate and house trained, and even enjoys baths! She solicits attention from her cage, pulls on leash, and is very waggy. Most of all, she is SUPER affectionate and irresistible. When I bring her into the yard, she likes to check things out and play with toys, but always, always, always finds her way back to my lap! She’ll wrap her paws around my hand as I pet her, snuggle against me with a toy in her mouth, and stretch out on her tippy toes to see if we can possibly get closer! She is a sweetheart through and through and hopes to be part of a family again soon. Come see her at Brooklyn ACC!
