PROFILE :
Basic Information:
Enzo is a 5 year old neutered Pitbull mix that has no health issues that the owner is aware of.
Socialization:
Enzo comes from a home with children and the previous owner stated he loves being around them. He plays with them in a gentle, playful manner. He has been around other cats and dogs before and was said to play with them and respect them, with no signs of aggression. He has never bitten another person or animal before.
Behavior Issues:
During storms or fireworks, Enzo is not bothered. The owner has never tried to bathe or clip his nails so his behavior is unknown. Enzo is not bothered when his food bowl is touched and will drop a toy is asked to do so. When someone unfamiliar approaches the yard or family member, Enzo is friendly and not bothered. He is not bothered having his coat brushed or being held or restrained.
For a New Family to Know:
Enzo is described as being confident, friendly, affectionate, playful and excitable with a high activity level. Enzo knows to sit and stay and when given belly rubs, he will roll over and accept them. When in the home, Enzo is the type to follow you around seeking attention and usually found in the same room as you are in. Enzo was kept indoors only and was fed 3 times a day dry food. The vet said that he was somewhat overweight so the previous owner cut down his food recently to only 2 meals per day. Enzo is house trained and has no accidents in the house. When left alone in the home, Enzo is well behaved. He has not been crate trained. He was taken for brisk walks on the leash and enjoys them. He usually went to the bathroom on the grass.
