Found as a stray, BAR, allows handling but struggles with restraint BCS 5/9 EENT: sneezes when gets excited or struggles, serous nasal discharge OU-immature cataracts Oral Exam: mm pigmented, moist; severe dental disease, most teeth missing; tongue hangs out of L side of mouth PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: male intact; 2 scrotal testicles MSI: ambulatory x 4 with high stepping gait x 4 mild dec hip extension bilat no significant spinal pain healthy hair coat-appears to have been recently groomed CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: not performed Assessment Dental disease sneezing/nasal discharge-r/o secondary to dental disease vs early CIRDC vs other Geriatric Plan monitor for signs of CIRDC Rec’d dental with likely extractions Prognosis: good SURGERY: perm waiver d/t age
