Medical Summary Scanned negative BARH- allowed all handling. Intacted female- no spay scar or tattoo seen Approx. 4 years old Ears, eyes, and nose: clean, clear and discharge Teeth- moderate tartar No parasites or fleas observed Patient urinated during the exam and there was blood in the urine. Handler, confirmed bloody urine on cage blanket also. No parasites or flea dirt observed Ambx4 Nosf

MEDICAL: 4/26:
VC – BLOOD IN URINE OR IN HEAT?
S/O: Dog is BARH
BCS 5/9
EENT – clear, starting to have mild NS OU
Grade 2/4 dental dz (est 4-6yrs)
Heart/lungs auscult wnl
Abdominal palpation – bladder large, full of stones
Genito-urinary – hematuria (blood in urine); incontinence (may be temporary over-flow incontinence due to bladder stones)
Coat wnl except hind end is wet from urine
A: Hematuria; Bladder Stones
P: Recommend rescue placement as this dog needs a cystotomy ASAP, starting on Clavamox 62.5mg BID x 10d and buprenorphine 0.5mg/mL 0.3mLs BID x 3d; keeping in medical and starting S/D
PROGNOSIS: Good with cystotomy and long-term management (Rx diet) to prevent stones
Basic Information:
Eloise is a female poodle mix who is friendly and likes to be held.Eloise was lived with her finder for one week.
Socialization: Around strangers Eloise is friendly, outgoing, and plays gently. Eloise spent itme with children ages 1 and 8; around them she was relaxed and played gently. Eloiselived with other dogs for a week and was relaxed and played gently with them. Eloise lived with cats for one week and was relaxed and respectful around them. Eloisedid no tbite another person or animal while she was with her finder.
Behavior: Eloise will urinate indoors and is not bothered by loud sounds. Eloise is friendly when someone touches her food or bowl while she is eating, takes a bone/ treat away r takes a toy/object away. Eloise is friendly when someone gives her a bath, brushes her coat, and holds/restrains her. If an unfamiliar person appraoches Eloise‘s family or home she is friendly toward them. Eloise is also friendly when someone disturbs her while she is resting/sleeping.
For a New Family to Know: Eloise is described as: friendly, affectionate, playful, shy, confident, mellow, and independant with a medium activity level. WHen at ome Eloise will stay in her favorite spot and likes to play with balls. Eloise was kept indoors only and was fed both wet and dry food. Eloise is mostly house trained and has accidents daily. Eloise is well behaved when she is left alone in a home. Eloise nows the commands sit and stay. When off leash Eloise will stay close by, and will wander some but will come when called. Eloise would use the bathroom on the grass.
Intake Behavior: Eloise allowed staff to collar, scan for a microchip, and take pictures with no signs of aggression. Eloise enjoyed being picked upand carried by staff.
