A volunteer writes: LOVE< LOVE< LOVE!! I first saw Ellie Belle when she was actively engaged in play with another dog and couldn’t wait to meet her. I had to wait quite some time as she’s so good with other dogs she kept meeting new playgroup partners. Lucky girl!! Her squarish little imp of a face, wagging tail and wiggly body promise of a good time for both other dogs and people, and she delivers!! Playful and fun, she loves playing with toys, and while she can play by herself she brings her toy onto my lap for a game of tug or toss the toy. When I throw it she brings it back into my lap for more! Her leash manners are wonderful, and as much as she seems to love other dogs ignores them as we walk. Good girl Ellie Belle! Ellie joins me on the bench for some cuddle time before bouncing back to play with her toy. I loved reading her intake notes which indicate a friendly, nice dog who rolled over for a belly rub during the process. How sweet is that?! Although spelled a bit differently, the Urban Dictionary describes Elle Belle as a beautiful attractive girl, and she sure is. With a winning combination of a great look, and a fun and affectionate personality, our Ellie Belle is the one you want to meet.
