A: Malassezia dermatitis, Otitis externa AU
P: Add Ketoconazole 200mg – 1/4 tab PO once daily for 2-4 weeks
Used 10-blade to clip dog and gave bath with 4% chlorhexidine, let set for 5mins before rinsing
Plucked AU, cleaned – start Otibiotic BID x 7d; recheck
Chlorhexidine baths EOD
scan: neg sex: female intact est age: 4-6yrs S/O: Dog is QARH BCS 5/9 EENT – small area of neovascularization OS; waxy debris AU Grade 1/4 dental dz Heart/lungs auscult wnl Abdomen soft, non-painful Generalized dermatitis consisting of partial alopecia, erythema, lichenification, crusting and flaking Amb x 4
A: Dermatitis
P: Put on for skin scrape + shave + chlorhexidine bath for 5/23
Start on Amoxi/Clav 45.7mg/mL – 1.7mLs PO q12h x 10d and Doxycycline 50mg/mL – 1mL PO q24h x 10d
