02/29/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
02/29/16 18:25 Eeyore is a young, adult male APBT / American Staffordshire Terrier mix. He was found wandering loose outside. His finders report that he was very friendly with them. Eeyore was tense with a low tail and ears often back. He barked often, sometimes looking at staff, sometimes looking around as if he was barking at noises outside. He didn’t growl or lunge. When I stooped down, he sniffed me, stood next to me, and tolerated being pet, scanned (-), and collared. He sat when asked and took treats very gently. He lied down on the backdrop.

03/02/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Eeyore pulls a bit on the leash. He was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body. He was calm and relaxed during handling. Eeyore was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. He was not interested in toys. Eeyore did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) He is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. No interest. playgroup Notes: When off leash with other dogs, Eeyore greets, and shows brief sexually motivated behavior but does not follow through to mount.
03/01/2016 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION
Exam Type GROUP BEHAVIOR
Eeyore engages in bouts of play with intent to mount females. He has not yet been introduced to a male while in our care. Based on observation made on Eeyore during playgroup, a pre-adoption interaction is recommended to ensure compatability with a resident dog. Eeyore arrived into our care as a stray so in home behaviors with dogs are unknown. When off leash with other dogs, Eeyore greets, and shows brief sexually motivated behavior but does not follow through to mount. 3/2 update: Eeyore is sexually motivated but eventualyl begins to mimic playful behavior from the helper female. 3/6 update: Eeyore engages in bouts of play with intent to mount.
