Medical Summary 03/14/16 17:58 initial exam – microchip scan negative history of hit by a bus calm and mentally appropriate on exam, normal respiratry rate and effort, BAR, hydrated, pale pink mm’s CRT~2 sec, femoral pulses S+S, abdomen soft and non-painful on palpation, no palpable bladder, clean adult dentition, no ocular or nasal discharge, normal heart rate and rhythm, lung sounds clear bilaterally, male neutered with green tattoo, painful on manipulation of left front leg and left hind leg – possible fractures, no open wounds or other injuries noted, A: hx hit by bus suspect left front and left hind leg fractures +/- pelvic fracture – will xraytomorrow to confirm no palpable bladder – continue to monitor P: keep in medical for observation start hydro start meloxicam start LRS NPO tonight for sedated xrays tomorrow
