Introducing Dusty! Also known as The Fluffiest Boy in the House, also known as The World’s Happiest Boy, also known as The Dog Who Loves to Give Kisses, also known as “Whoa, is that a real dog??” Dusty is a 5-year old Alaskan Malamute who is, very simply put, a showstopper. One look at his piercing blue eyes, sweet face, and insane amount of fur, and I fell—hard. And though Dusty looks like a wolf from a fairy tale (someone really did see us and ask me if he was a real dog!), he is way more like Prince Charming. Dusty loves meeting everyone, he loves going to the park, and he loves watching the kids play basketball. Mostly Dusty loves his human friends—he gives kisses freely. A lot of kisses! And he loves getting hugs. It’s almost impossible not to see this magnificent boy and not fall in love.  Dusty would love nothing more than his own human best friend to kiss and to take him to the park. Are you the one for Dusty? Come on down and meet him today!

For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues.

If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email helpdogs@urgentpodr.org. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process.

* We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.*
