10/14/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
10/14/16 09:30 Basic information: Dino is an 11 year old Chihuahua mix. He was given to his previous owner 2 weeks ago by a person who owned him prior. He was surrendered because his previous owner has no time to care for him. The last time he went to the vet was 2 years ago. He has no known injuries or health problems. Socialization: Around strangers Dino is friendly and outgoing but doesn’t play with adults. He lived with children ages 5 and 10. With them he was respectful and relaxed but also did not play. Behavior: Dino has never attempted to bite a person or animal. He doesn’t mind when someone takes his food/bone/toy. He isn’t bothered if he is moved off furniture, held, disturbed while sleeping, given a bath, or if his coat is brushed. He is bothered if his paws are touched, or if an unfamiliar person approached his home or previous owner. For a New Family to know: Dino is described as friendly, confident, mellow and independent with a medium activity level. When his previous owner was home he would tend to follow her around. He showed no interest in toys or games. He was kept indoors only and at night he slept on his dog bed. He ate both wet and dry food. He is mostly house trained but had accidents daily. He is well behaved when left alone indoors. He was taken on brisk walks 3 times daily. On leash he doesn’t pull. Behavior during intake: Dino allowed me to pick him up, collar him and pet him. He came when called, sat on cue and showed no signs of aggression
