01/22/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Dickens is fearful of the shelter environment and walks with low and fearful body language. He was uncomfortable with handling; he freezes, wrinkles his muzzle to expose his front teeth, fearful body language, and tucked tail. For safety reasons the behavior team decided to skip the handling portion of the assessment. During the toy test Dickens was not interested in the item. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Look: 5. Freeze Toy 1: No interest. Playgroup Notes: When off leash with other dogs Dickens is uncomfortable. He keeps to himself for a majority of the interaction before briefly sniffing a few other dogs then walking away.

01/20/2016 GROUP BEHAVIOR EVALUATION
Exam Type GROUP BEHAVIOR
When off leash with other dogs Dickens is uncomfortable. He keeps to himself for a majority of the interaction before briefly sniffing a few other dogs then walking away. 1/21: Dickens allows brief greeting before going off to explore the yard. He may occasionally approach some dogs to sniff them from behind.
