A volunteer writes: “Diamond is a well mannered dog and has been a great companion and considered part of the family.” But despite that, due to personal issues, Diamond is now in our care. Diamonds are a girls best friend, and this Diamond is definitely best friend material. Joining us with an excellent resume of a cherished companion, we’re told that Diamond is friendly and outgoing to all, spent time with young children and was relaxed, playful and respectful with them, doesn’t guard her things, likes to play with balls and toys, is housetrained and likes to potty on grass (and waited until we got to the grass in the park to potty), is well behaved when left home alone, and knows ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘down’ and ‘stay’. Diamond is a gorgeous girl in a rich, deep and gleaming brown coat (think dark chocolate), and has a tiny little diamond shaped white spot on the top of her head. It’s her diamond shaped love button as I called it. Her leash manners are lovely as we stroll easily through the park, Diamond wagging her tail gently at other dogs. When I sit to take some notes she sits close at my feet, a quiet and gentle friend. Diamond has enjoyed both soft and chase play in her playgroups, and is ready to find a warm, loving home in which to enjoy her happily ever after. She is definitely perfect best friend material and waiting to prove it to you. I picture her curled up on the couch after a nice walk and some play time, keeping you company as you binge watch Netflix, or read your favorite book. Come meet her today and let her show you how amazing she is.

For a new Family to Know
Diamond is a very friendly, affectionate, playful, confident and independent dog with high energy level. She has been a great companion to owner; follows you around at home and would be in the same room all the time. She likes to play balls, fetch and chase; was kept mostly indoors and slept on owner’s bed. She was fed dry dog food (Dog chow), and has no favorite treat. She is house trained and never had accidents. She goes potty on grass when outdoors and is well behaved when left alone at home.
