I remember meeting Ned the day he arrived, sitting quietly in his kennel, his teeth chattering as he needed to go out so badly. I leashed him quickly and he peed for so long I thought his legs would give out. Spending more time with Ned reveals a warm, loving, friendly, handsome dog who loves to cuddle and play with toys. We walk to the park, Ned pulling hard on the leash so will benefit from some leash training and/or a harness. Ned loves to play so assumes that birds and squirrels could be toys and gives a little pull towards those we see. Sorry Ned – off limits! With a tail that never stops wagging, Ned poses for some pictures, takes reward treats gently, and sits before I ask him to! Smart boy our Ned! Off leash in a pen he comes when I call him, has a ball with a squeaky toy and a tennis ball, poses for more pictures (his tail a wagging blur in them) and then joins me on the bench for some cuddling. Gorgeous, fun, engaging, friendly, affectionate, and gentle, Ned is a low key, soft dog who loves to be pet. Won’t you come meet him today?
