A volunteer writes: Who doesn’t love a beautifully brindlicious little girl? She’s tiny, gently tail waggy, a bit shy at times but ready to play a bit and certainly ready for a walk. So excited in her kennel when I stop with leash in hand, Debbie is ready to go, go, go! Debbie pulls hard on the leash so will benefit from a harness and/or some leash training, takes care of her ‘business’ along the way, and we then head into the yard for some off leash time. Taking treats gently she spits them out like such a little lady when they aren’t to her liking. So cute, like a kid dumping her broccoli! She prances in the pen, enjoying her time, coming to me when I call her, but still a bit shy. In her first playgroup Debbie greets politely and enjoys some soft, puppy play. Debbie is finding her way in this environment so new to her. She’s smart and will figure it all out, but I hope that before she nails it, she finds her new true love and I can watch her wagging her tail out the door with her new person. Are you her person?
