A volunteer writes: Having achieved celebrity status the moment he came in the door due to his unique good looks, Dario maintained his status when he displayed a friendly, fun and affectionate personality. Gorgeously groomed in his gleaming coat, his eyes blue and shimmering with fun and affection, he’s happy to make new friends of both humans and other dogs. Intake staff and vet techs have already declared their love for him and he has my vote too! He’s a big loveable lug, following me around the pen, joining me on the bench for some kisses and cuddles, playing tug with a rope toy and then bouncing after it when I toss it. Dario play bows to other dogs through the fence wagging his tail in playful greeting. Dario pulls on the leash so will benefit from some leash training and/or a harness, but he’s happy to please his person, enjoys treats so should learn quickly. Mr. Wonderful, I mean Dario, is looking for his new person to hang with, and we’re hoping he’ll meet his new bestie quickly. He’s got our vote and he’s waiting for yours!
