A Little Bit About Me…
A volunteer writes: Cute as a button and cuddly as a teddy bear, Damon’s a tiny guy with a big heart whose absolute favorite place to be is soaking up the snuggles as he nestles on top of his person. The minute he sees a bench he’s on it and quickly turning his best ‘puppy dog eyes’ toward whomever is nearby to beg for some lap time. At the end of our own cuddle session I put him on the ground and reached for the gate but before we’d even taken a step Damon had jumped back up on the bench again and was giving me a look that said loud and clear where he’d rather stay! A good walker who sits on command and takes treats softly, he rocked his behavior assessment and would literally fit into any family with ease, though a home with no four-legged siblings would suit him best. The King of Cuddles is ready to fill your life with love and once you hold Damon in your arms, I guarantee you’ll never want to let him go.
For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues. If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected]. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. * We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.* For more info on behavior codes and ratings, please click here: http://information.urgentpodr.org/acc-placement-status-descriptions.
