Medical Summary 02/06/17 Recheck CIRDC – went to private vet who is concerned Cyan may have pneumonia. Hasn’t been eating, vomits antibiotics, not active. O: Lethargic, ARH. mm=pink, moist, CRT<2 s. T=103.9 EENT: Mild mucopurulent ocular discharge. H/L: Mod. dry, hacking cough. Brought up opaque phlegm multiple times. HR=100, RR=32. ABD/UG: Palpation WNL. Urinated large volume clear urine prior to exam. MS: Thin body condition. BCS=3/9. A: Fever, lethargy, coughing. R/o CIRDC non-responsive to Doxy (or because dog not taking meds well) vs. pneumonia. P: 3 view chest rads: Focal consolidation right middle lung lobe. Confirms early pneumonia. Baytril 22.7 mg/ml 1.5 ml IM administered. Rec. transfer to Blue Pearl for continued care pending authorization to do so. \02/02/17 Adopter presented reporting coughing, coughing up phlegm, licking at paws, and bleeding around mouth S/O: Difficult to examine, growling snapping. BAR. EENT: Eyes clear, mod seromucoid nasal discharge; unable to examine mouth, no blood/wounds seen HL: Coughing, coughing up phlegm, lungs clear, no murmurs/arrhythmias INTEG: Neuter incision healing well, no signs of pododermatitis UG: Neutered A: CIRDC P: Disp doxycycline 100mg po q24 x 10 days. Rec cleaning paws incase of mild allergies for now since can’t bath due to recent neuter. Excellent prognosis

BCS 4/9 EENT: Teeth clean, eyes clear, no ocular or nasal discharge, ears wnl HL: Normal thoracic auscultation, normal sinus arrhythmias, no murmurs, clear lungs ABD: Normal abdominal palpation, soft, non-tender INTEG: No fleas, no signs of dermatitis, no wounds, WNL MS: Ambulatory x 4, no apparent lameness UG: Male A: No concerns on exam P: Continue to monitor while at BACC. Excellent prognosis
