My name is CUDDLE. My Animal ID # is A1098901.
I am a female tan and white maltese mix. The shelter thinks I am about 10 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 12/06/2016 from NY 10033, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

12/07/2016 Exam Type RE-EXAM – Medical Rating is 4 NC – SEVERE CONDITIONS NOT CONTAGIOUS, Behavior Rating is NONE, Weight 9.6 LBS.

12/07/16 15:15 s/o: BAR bcs6/9 heart and lungs wnl 2″ diamete soft epidermal mass by left shoulder OS micropthalmia OU sclerosis and hyperpigmentation of cornea +dazzle +menace moderate dental tartar a: eye dz, mass p: eye disease may be largeky congential mass on shoulder is probably a lipoma, but should be biopsied/removed prognosis good 12/6 Scan negative BARH Heavy dental tartar Lt eye was closed, cleaned with gauze and eye irrigating solution, no reflex on Lt eye, possible lt eye blind Large soft mass on near Lt shoulder Geriatric Applied activyl 0.5 cc pyrental orally Intact female NOSF

12/06/16 14:11 Basic Information Cuddle is an approximate 10 year old female Maltese mix. She is being surrendered as a stray. She was found in a park in Manhattan. Finder stated Cuddle tolerated all handling. Client stated for the week she kept Cuddle she was around kids’ ages 7, 9, and 10. She tolerated all handling from the kids. She was relaxed around them. Cuddle did not spend any time with any other dogs during that week she spent with finder. Cuddle did not display any signs of aggression while under the care of finder. Behavior during Intake Cuddle tolerated all handling. No signs of aggression were displayed.

KNOWN HISTORY: N/A Unaltered, Stray Other notes: Upon intake Cuddle tolerated all handling. SAFER ASSESSMENT: 12/8/2016 Look: 2. Dog’s eyes are averted. Her body a bit tense. She allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 2. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, lip lick, mouth closed, neutral Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back her paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Her eyes are averted and her ears are relaxed Toy 1. No interest Summary: Cuddle displayed no concern during her behavior assessment. PLAYGROUP: 12/8: When introduced off leash to other dogs in the care center, Cuddle sniffs nearby dogs, otherwise stays to herself. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 12/6/16 During her initial medical exam Cuddle allowed all handling. ENERGY LEVEL: RECOMMENDATIONS: Average (Suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience)
