Overall Cowboy is a gentle, lovable dog. He does bark at other small dogs. His former owner mentioned multiple times that he does not get along other other large, male dogs. He has growled at them in the past. Cowboy is very tolerant of cats.
BEHAVIOR
Cowboy has never bitten another animal or human. He doesn’t mind if someone touches his food bowl while he is eating. He doesn’t mind if someone takes a treat from him. If you can find a bath tub big enough to fit him, Cowboy seems to enjoy a good bath.

He loves to play with balls and loves to go to the park to find tree branches. He has been kept mostly indoors. He is used to a mix of wet and dry food. He was normally fed around 8:00 a.m. and again at 4:30 p.m. He loves beef sticks and almost any other type of treat. Cowboy will look for open grass outside when he needs to go to the bathroom.
