Courtney
Hello, my name is Courtney. My animal id is #9585. I am a female white dog at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 6 months old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 12-Oct-2017
Let’s get to know each other a bit more…
A volunteer writes: She is the cutest little flower. What a big smile and pretty laughing eyes! All white with spotted ears and she is not deaf. Courtney is at her door. She so wants to go out and be in company. She’s got a lot of energy and likes to jump while walking to the park. She might not have been taught to walk the runway like a fashion model. She needs to learn because she is one gorgeous damsel in the making. Courtney sits nicely on command and enjoys very much my treats. She even searches my bag for more. She has a lot of growing up still to do. Courtney is really delicious, very friendly and sociable, a love bug too who is happy to cuddle on the bench with her caretakers. Babes need not only food but also a lot of love to become healthy adults. Courtney will in addition require veterinary care for a weak right hind. Puppy Courtney is an adorable youngster at 6 months of age. You can imagine that her dreams focus on just one thing. being yours, for ever. Come and meet her at the Manhattan Care Center and open your door to this lovely little girl.
My medical notes are…
Weight: 28.5 lbs
Lame RHL, crepitus in the knee, discomfort in the knee and hip, asymmetric hips
Details on my behavior are…
Behavior Condition: 1. Green
Upon intake Courtney was calm and relaxed. She was quiet and allowed petting. She scanned negative for a microchip and allowed all handling.
How is this dog around strangers?: Courtney appears to be a 6 month old medium size dog that was found as a stray.
How is this dog around other dogs?: She came in with another dog name Candence 9584 and she was tolerant and respectful towards the dog. Candence appear to be bonded with her because Candence will whine and pull on leash when not near Courtney.
