A Little Bit About Me
A volunteer writes: Cosmo is usually found in the arms or on the lap of a nice female volunteer….I never see him walking. I had to try him for myself… Cosmo walks perfectly well, does the stairs up and down better than me and even hops on a bench. He looks healthy and active, is fine meeting other dogs… So, what’s the scoop with him? Like a little kid, he goes on his hinds, looks at me with his big Chihuahua eyes and asks silently: I am just a little guy in this big wide world I do not recognize. I need reassurance, comfort and love… Please, please, pick me up and hug me tight.. And this is why Cosmo is always found nestled against the chest of a volunteer… Will you be the one adopting him? You are sure to get with Cosmo a loving and lovable tiny friend who will make your days warm and fuzzy. Come and meet him soon at the Manhattan Care Center.
For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues. If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected]. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. * We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.* For more info on behavior codes and ratings, please click here: http://information.urgentpodr.org/acc-placement-status-descriptions.
