11/16/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Constantine is the kind of dog that can’t make it far without getting stopped for compliments. But he is not just a stunning dog, he is a really wonderful dog, too! Despite his size, he has been perfect on leash whenever I’ve walked him (unless he sees something exciting, like another dog), seems housebroken, and is a superstar at basic commands (he already knows “sit,” “down” and “paw”). When I bring him in the yard he loves to play fetch and sometimes, when it’s time to go in, he tries to negotiate with me (with both his bark and his eyes), before deciding it’s time to play catch-me-if-you-can. He wasn’t particularly demanding of affection at first with me, but after a few outings together, he’s revealed that even Roman emperors have a cuddly side. He’ll prop his paws up on me (and make me feel short!), lean all of his weight against me when I pet him, lick my face clean, and even threaten to go belly up! His finder tells us that Constantine was very friendly and gentle towards the one year old in the home…what a guy!! He is ready to turn heads on your block and warm hearts in your home…come see him at Brooklyn ACC!
