A Little Bit About Me…
A volunteer writes: Pretty Colleen loves treats and sweet talks. Whisper in her ear, tempt her with dry liver nuggets and she will exit her kennel like a little lamb. Colleen is quite pleasant on the walk, does her business as soon as we hit the street and shows interest in the many dogs we near on the way, big and small. Pigeons or squirrels do not seem to catch her eye. She enjoys her time in the yard and shows her big smile and incessantly wagging tail. I love her bright eyes. She is happy, she loves company and of course a good game with balls and toys. Colleen is not out of breath. I am…We need to stop. Some more treats and bench time are in order ! Colleen hops next to me for bonding. She likes caresses , hugs and gives little licks in return. Her eyes look now so gentle and my heart melts. Colleen is at the Manhattan Care Center dreaming of a home to call her own and a family to love. Come and meet her soon !
