A volunteer writes: Are you ready to meet the sweetest dog ever? Cole joined us when her family was no longer able to care for her, twins on the way plus a disabled child at home was all too much. Cole was gentle and affectionate to the wheelchair bound child, plays gently with all, is well behaved when left home alone and lived and played nicely with another dog. Sure, Cole is the charter member of ACC’s Weight Watcher’s group as she needs to lose some weight, but she’s gorgeous, friendly, affectionate and the sweetest dog you’ll ever want to meet. She wagged her tail at everyone during our walk hoping to add friends to her list, showed off her sit for photos and took reward treats gently. The very first thing she did when we went outside was pee forever, melting the last snow drift in the driveway! She then hopped into a pile of snow on the sidewalk to take care of
her other business…so cute! Low key, gorgeous, sweet and easy, Cole impressed our behavior team with her good behavior and has been deemed appropriate for a home with average dog experience. She’s an absolute gem, a proven family dog looking for a new family to take care of. She’s going to make her new family so happy!
Another volunteer writes: The more time I spend with this fabulous dog that more I love her. She’s gentle, calm, so housetrained, so well behaved, gives soft kisses and hugs, has lived with a disabled child in a wheel chair and absolutely nothing fazes her. Walking down a busy street, lots of people, other dogs, loud truck and cars she’s not bothered by anything, happy to be with her person out for a nice walk. She’s so perfect in my opinion, if you aren’t rushing down to meet this gentle, slightly overweight girl, you’re missing out on an amazing companion. She’s a total rockstar, waiting to prove it to you!
