Stray, tense but allowed exam, resistant to exam of mouth Objective BCS 6/9 EENT: OU- scleral injection and conjucntival hyperemia, AU- severe erythema, thickening, tan debris; no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: limited oral exam, moderate dental calc seen PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: MI, 2 descended testicles MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, large area of alopecia, erythema, scabbing at dorsal neck; epidermal collarettes along dorsum; areas of erythema and CNS: mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Assessment severe otitis externa severe pyoderma/dermatitis conjunctivitis- R/O KCS vs dysticia vs infectious vs other Plan start cephalexin 1000 mg PO BID x 4 weeks apply osnuria AU and repeat in 1 week Prognosis: fair but will likely need chronic treatment for skin/ear conditions SURGERY: Temporary waiver due to severe skin condition
