Observed Behavior – Objective: T = P = wnl. R = eup BCS 7/9 EENT: Dried brown discharge and tear staining OU. Brown ceruminous debris AU. NND. No c/s.
Oral Exam: mild dental disease. Fractured maxillary canines PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: Grade II/VI left systolic HM. NSR. CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: MI, 2 testiclesMSI: Ambulatory x 4, no obvious fleas seen, no masses noted. Dirty unkempt haircoat, matting along ventral neck and chest. Hypotrichosis to alopecia along caudal dorsum and hind legs, skin in that area is erythematous CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: normal externally Assessment : Heart murmur. Dermatitis/hypotrichosis — r/o FAD vs endocrine vs other. Hair coat matting Intact Prognosis: fair pending work up of heart murmur Plan: Bathe Clean ears. shave hair matts CTM dermatitis and hypotrichosis. See if hair grows back after p received flea treatment. If not, consider further derm diagnostics and/or bloodwork. Recommend echocardiogram once placed/adopted
