A volunteer writes: Clash has an adorable habit of bunching up his blankets into a pillow and sometimes channels a beached whale in his cage. But this is no defeated old man…what a charming, happy character!! He is definitely chubby, but even at many multiples of his current weight he’d still be worth it in gold. He is very friendly, loves to go out and about (and has been very easy to walk), and really seems to be young at heart. He seems housebroken, sits for treats (he loves them and isn’t afraid to tell me when I’m taking too long to deliver), has been bouncy and loose with other dogs in our playgroups, and absolutely loves toys (he is an unexpected fetching superstar!). Clash was left in his yard when his person moved away two months ago, and I can hardly get over his resilience. While I wouldn’t blame him for being needy and lost, he is instead always wagging his tail and a source of joy to everyone that crosses his path. Clash is looking for someone to join him on that path! Please come meet this very special, incredibly sweet boy at Brooklyn ACC and see if that might be you.
For more information on adopting from the NYC AC&C, or to find a rescue to assist, please read the following: http://urgentpodr.org/adoption-info-and-list-of-rescues. If you are local to the Tri-State, New England, and the general Northeast United States area, and you are SERIOUS about adopting or fostering one of the animals at NYC ACC, please read our MUST READ section for instructions, or email [email protected]. Our experienced volunteers will do their best to guide you through the process. * We highly discourage everyone from trusting strangers that send them Facebook messages, offering help, for it has ended in truly tragic events.* For more info on behavior codes and ratings, please click here: http://information.urgentpodr.org/acc-placement-status-descriptions.
