11/10/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
11/10/16 15:28 BASIC INFO Chula A1096464 is a 10 year old schnauzer. she was a gift to the owner from friends 8 years ago. the main reason for surrender is that the owner works too many hours and does not have time for her. Chula has some kind of skin condition for the last year. Chula is fed any brand dry dog food. she is house trained and prefers to go on grass. She is walked off leash and on leash. When you call her, she responds. She slept on a doggy bed. If you take away her food bowl, water bowl, or toy away, she allows you. At home she follows you around. She has never lived with another animal. If a stranger approaches the doorway, she barks. BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE Chula allowed all handling, collaring and photos.
11/14/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Chula is a cute little Schnauzer with one ear up and one ear down, left with us as her long time owner had no time for her pet anymore. Chula is a bit chunky and has had her share of litters over the years. Her coat is lush but covers a skin that needs care(that we started here at the care center). Her chesnut eyes sparkle and her spongy little black nose shines in the sun. She is a friendly gal who walks very nicely on the leash, does her business in one stop and answers quickly at the call of her name. She does not mind me outfitting her with a scarf or cleaning her eyes with a cotton ball. She meets other dogs in a very civil way. Little Chula comes with excellent recommendations. She will need veterinary care, a proper diet and mostly the stability of a good home and the love of a master. Come and meet Chula at the Manhattan Care Center.
