09/27/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/27/16 12:22 Basic Info: Chuchy A1091423 is a 10mth old female white with a spot of brown AMPBT mix who was given as a gift at 3mths old & is being surrendered due to moving to where pets aren’t allowed. Chuchy hasn’t been seen by a veterinarian and currently has no known health issues. Socialization: Around strangers Chuchy is shy. She’s spent time with young children and was gentle, exuberant, playful & somewhat rough with them (during play she doesn’t know her strength) also with the adults in the home. Chuchy hasn’t been around other animals. Chuchy has never bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Chuchy isn’t bothered by the following: having her food/food bowl, toys/treats touched/moved or being brushed. She hasn’t disturbed while sleeping/resting or had her nails trimmed. Chuchy enjoys the warm/hot water during baths. If someone approaches the home/family member she’ll bark and back away. For A New Family to Know: Chuchy is described as friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, & excitable with a medium-high activity level. Chuchy enjoys playing with ball, squeaky, rope toys and games of fetch & tug. She’s an indoor only dog who sleeps with the owner and uses wee wee pads indoors. Chuchy eats dry dog Pedigree food 3x a day and likes any kind of dog treats. Her known commands are “sit”, “go” & “come” that she doesn’t always listen to. Intake Behavior: Chuchy allowed some handling. When approached she had a semi tense body and gave “whale eye”. Chuchy allowed the owner to collar, scan (-) and assist with pictures. She then walked alongside her owner and went into her kennel on her own.

10/01/2016 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: In the space of not more than 10 minutes in the park with Agatha we received the following comments: 1) Wow, she’s a beauty! 2) Gorgeous dog 3) What a sweetheart 4) Gorgeous white coat 5) She seems SO sweet 6) I wish I could adopt her. Agatha is a seriously gorgeous and sweet dog – I think we’ve established that! Surrendered by her family as they are moving where she’s not welcome, she’s been gorgeously taken care of – her weight is perfect for her size, her white coat gleams with apparent good care and while she’s initially shy she opens up to be a playful and affectionate girl who wants to make friends with everyone we pass. Her leash manners are lovely, she pulls slightly towards birds but not squirrels, loved watching the kids play (we’re told she lived children), didn’t want either of my treats and was a reluctant tethered model for photos. Putting on her ‘serious’ face for the task at hand she lost patience with my fumbling (and it was raining lightly), ready to continue on walking. Wagging her tail at other dogs we pass we know she hasn’t spent time with other dogs in her former home, and on her first play date avoided approach from the male greeter dog. Agatha is an adolescent with years of taking care of and being loved by a new family. Shouldn’t yours be the one?
