A Staff member writes: Christos was hesitant to come out of his cage for a walk with me but I wouldn’t take no for an answer! I wanted to show him a good time. First thing outside the shelter he relieved himself (likely potty trained!). As we began our walk, he went very slow and froze near passing carts and groups of people. He also flinched when I would go to pet him. But with patience and tenderness he began to relax, trust me and gain confidence! In the park he actually laid down! His leash manners are top notch. The leash was loose the entire time! Affectionate and mellow, he will make the perfect canine companion for a lucky adopter!
