PROFILE :
BASIC INFO
Chloe A1109983 is a 12 year old Pomeranian Mix. She was a gift to the owner from Family 3-4 years ago. The main reason for surrender is that the owner is moving to Florida and cannot take Chloe. Chloe’s only medical concern is that she urinates frequently. She has not been to a veterinarian since last year.
SOCIALIZATION
Chloe is friendly and outgoing around strangers. Chloe has not lived with kids, but is friendly and playful with kids. She plays gentle with adults and children alike. Chloe has not lived with another animal, and barks at other dogs when she sees them.
BEHAVIOR
Chloe’s only behavior issue is that she cannot control her urine. During storms or loud noises, she hides under the owner. Chloe is not bothered if you take away her food bowl, water bowl, or toy away. Chloe is not bothered if you push her off of furniture, hold or restrain her. She is not bothered if you disturb her while asleep. Chloe allows you to bathe her and brush her. If an unfamiliar approaches the owner or the doorway, she is not bothered.
FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW
Chloe is best described as friendly and affectionate. She has a high activity level. At home, she stays in her favorite spot. Chloe has been kept mostly indoors. She sleeps on a doggy bed. Chloe was fed Pedigree dry dog food. Chloe is house trained and prefers to go potty on dirt. She has accidents daily by urinating. When left home alone, she is well behaved. She listens to the command sit. For exercise she is walked on the leash, which she pulls.
BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE
Chloe was doing play bows with counselor. She allowed all handling, collaring and photos.
