Chilli pulls a bit on the leash. He was calm and relaxed during handling and easily engages in play, body is loose and wiggly, mouth open. Chilli was easy to handle when chewing on toys. Chilli did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft or squinty, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Dog assumes play position and joins the game. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Toy: 1. Dog settles down close to chew, will relinquish toy to you. Playgroup Notes: When off leash with other dogs, Chilli engages in exuberant play with other dogs, he becomes pushy when soliciting despite receiving correction.

Chilli is social and playful with males and females. He engages in rough, running play but can be pushy when soliciting after he has been offered correction. When play ceases he may attempt to mount, but he is currently unaltered. Chilli’s owner reports when he meets other dogs he “wants to play.” Based on this information the behavior department feels that Chilli could go to a home with another playful dog. When off leash with other dogs, Chilli engages in exuberant play with other dogs, he becomes pushy when soliciting despite receiving correction. 1/13: Chilli engages in rough, wrestling play with males and females. He attempts to mount female dogs when play slows down. 1/14: Chilli continues to engage in rough play with males and females.
