A volunteer writes: We all know that Chica is Spanish for girl, but I didn’t know that the Urban Dictionary defines Chica as “an extremely hot girl”!!! And indeed she is! Long legged, streamlined and elegant, her black coat gleams with apparent good care, she may be housetrained, and seems to like other dogs in her first group greeting politely but keeping to herself. Chica is quiet and a bit shy but came when I called, her tail wagging and we exchanged some kisses. On leash Chica pulls a bit, decides birds may be fun to play with and is responsive as we walk. An absolute delight her low key gentle demeanor and smiling face makes her an easy girl with whom to spend time. And again, in the words of the Urban Dictionary, this “extremely hot girl” is looking for a person or family with whom to spend the rest of her life. Will you be the lucky person to make her yours?
