Basic Information:

Chi Chi is a 16yr old neutered male Chihuahua mix that has no medical issues that the owner is aware of.

Socialization:

Chi Chi is not bothered by strangers and will solicit attention. He has grown up with children all of his life and has lived with other dogs and gets along with both just fine. He likes attention and will play with children in a gentle manner. He has never been around cats, so his behavior is unknown. Chi Chi has never bitten another person or animal before.

Behavior:

Chi Chi does not have any guarding issues and this applies to food, treats, and toys. These items can be given and taken away with no issues according to the owner.  Chi Chi does not like any grooming agents at all. He will try to snap or bite when having his coat brushed, nails trimmed, or tried giving a bath. He likes to be held and has never been outside on a leash. He pees  and poops indoor and is wee wee pad trained. During fireworks and storms, he is not bothered. When someone unfamiliar approaches the family or home, Chi Chi is not bothered.

For a New Family to Know:

Chi Chi is described as friendly, independent, mellow and shy with a medium activity level. He does not play with toys and was kept indoors only. He was fed Puppy Chow dry food. He is wee wee pad trained and when left alone in the house he is well behaved. He was never left alone in the yard so his behavior is unknown. He was crate trained as a puppy and took well to it. He does not know any commands.
